He looks down on Harry for having dead parents and hanging out with the poor kid. But the real reason Draco zones in on Harry so much goes deeper. Draco is jealous of Harry. Harry yells “ Sectumsempra ,” the hex scribbled in the margins of the Half-Blood Prince’s book. Blood spurts from Draco’s face and chest, and Myrtle beings screaming. Snape bursts into the room and heals Draco’s wounds almost immediately. Snape hurries Draco to the hospital wing, commanding Harry to wait behind. They then hit a death eater trying to attack Draco with a curse thus saving him again. Draco's mother saved Harry by telling Voldemort that Harry was dead when he told her that Draco was alive.
